Missouri is headed back to Shreveport, La.. Again.
Shut out of the Big 12 Conference’s bowl lineup, the Tigers are headed to the Dec. 26 Independence Bowl for the third time in nine years. Gary Pinkel’s team is expected to play Wake Forest (6-6) or North Carolina (7-5) of the Atlantic Coast Conference, most likely North Carolina. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff on ESPN2. The opponent was expected to be announced at 7:30 p.m. Central at the request of the ACC. (more…)
